Dawson Creek, the city

After we finished zone conference in Grande Prairie, we
decided to take advantage of the nice weather and take
a little road trip to some of the northern cities where our
missionaries are serving.
This is Dawson Creek, about 2 hours northeast
and the city of mile "0".
Chris allowed me to take a picture of him in front of this beautiful
sign, welcoming us to the city.
Where the adventure begins.
This picture, we've seen in the mission slide show, many times.
Cool truck!
I've seen this in pictures, but we finally made it to see this sign
in person.
This sign points the way to Alaska and the highway that can
get you there.  World famous Alaska Highway.
History of Dawson Creek, I didn't read it, I just took a picture.
Here marks the spot where the journey begins.
We aren't actually going on the journey.  We won't be driving
to Alaska anytime soon, not allowed to leave the mission. ;)

There's our cute little car in the background.
He went "that-away".
This is a cute little hotel,
the Alaska Hotel, downtown Dawson Creek.
And this,
this is the spot, mile marker "0".  Awesome!!
