Maisie's

Tonight we took the kids to Maisie's for an evening of
amazing lights.
The story goes that this woman named Maisie, loved Christmas
and she would decorate her house every year.
Then after she passed away, her son started
to decorate the house for Christmas in her honor.
It is quite an ordeal, lights everywhere.
It is so big that he actually has a store that sponsors him
and helps him with the lights.
I'm not even sure if he lives in the house, there
really isn't any room for him to live because
each room is filled with decorations and displays.
He might live in a back room, but all the rooms with windows
on the outside of the house are taken up with nativity's, Santa's
and little villages.
Fact:  it takes 3 months to set everything up, sometimes
working up to 16 hours a day on the weekends
Fact:  the power bill ranges from $1,000-$1,500 a month
Fact:  there are approximately 100,000 lights in all and. . .
only 2 more days 'til Christmas, YEAH!!!!
Tyler and Heather under the mistletoe!
Jason and Abby under the lights.
(and this is a rare glimpse of the infamous picture avoider)
Chris and I, enjoying the beautiful lights and our family.
